Text Box: NEWS RELEASE—January 2010 Orangevale Recreation and Park District Begins Master Plan Update, Seeks Public Input The Orangevale Recreation and Park District (ORPD) is seeking ideas and input from Orangevale residents on park and recreation facilities, programs, and services as part of the District’s Master Plan project. Two Community Input meetings will be held at the Orangevale Community Center, 6826 Hazel Avenue in Orangevale, one on Monday, February 22 and the other on Wednesday, February 24. Both meetings will run from 6 to 8 pm. The meetings are an open forum for all community members to help establish priorities for the future improvement of parks, recreation facilities, programs, and related services within the community. ORPD is taking a resident-driven approach to making decisions that will enrich the future of the Orangevale community and help make Orangevale a better place to live, work, and play. The meetings will be facilitated by PROS Consulting who is assisting the District in updating its Master Plan. Residents who are unable to attend a community meeting may visit the ORPD web site at ovparks.com and to submit their comments.
